Women's Cooperative Success
In 2022, twelve women from Salem joined our empowerment programme with a shared goal: to create sustainable livelihoods for their families. They brought different skills and experiences, but shared a common determination to build something meaningful together.
With training in business planning, financial management, and cooperative governance, the group established a small production unit. Today, they operate a thriving cooperative that supplies handmade products to local markets and online buyers.
Their success has become a model for nearby communities, and they now mentor other women who want to start similar ventures. Their story is a testament to the power of collective effort and community support.
"Together, we achieved what seemed impossible. This is the power of community."
